What we offer:

At White Cedar Studio, we will work with you to create an original piece or redesign your existing jewelry into a new piece you’ll want to wear every day. All ideas are welcome. We will guide you through our process, from design to 3-D model, to a beautifully finished hand crafted one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that fits your style and budget.

With over 20 years at the bench, Scott has the skills and experience to design, create and repair your jewelry right here in our shop. Preforming all of our custom jewelry and repair work on premise not only provides peace of mind that your jewelry is safe and secure, it helps us to be more efficient and speeds up turn around time.

Who we are:

Scott Hanson Owner and Goldsmith of WCS at his bench.

Scott has worked as a goldsmith since graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Stout in 1996 with a B.F.A. in Studio Art and a concentration in Art Metals. After working as a bench jeweler in Madison for 3 years, he was drawn north to further his exploration of the lakes and woods he fell in love with as a kid while spending time at his family’s cabin in Barnes, Wisconsin. He has been providing custom jewelry repairs in the Twin Ports since 1998.

Jaime Crain brings a complimentary set of skills to the studio. Her time in diamond and jewelry sales at Bagley and Company gives her the knowledge and experience to assist you with any of your jewelry needs. Scott and Jaime combine their skills to create a personal, interactive and a positive experience for all of our clients.
